Vertical Bore Rod Blowout Preventer (BOP) for Pumping Well

VigorPetro's Rod Blow Out Preventers (BOPs) with Vertical Bore design are used to pack off a pumping well. Our BOPs can be permanently installed between the pumping head and tubing head or stuffing box.
VigorPetro's Rod BOPs can seal on the polished or sucker rod. They can also pack off a pumping well that does not have rods when equipped with suitable Rams.
Pressure-tested at twice their PSI rating, all VigorPetro BOPs can be manually or hydraulically operated. We offer BOPs for standard, H2S, and sour service. Our sour service BOPs can be certified to NACE requirements.
VigorPetro's Rod BOPs include the Basic-Economy BOP for Low Pressure 1500PSI and the Developed Prenier BOP for High Pressure from 2000PSI to 5000PSI, both are available in a wide selection of pressure ratings and Ram sizes. You also have a choice of flanged or threaded connections. Thread sizes range from 2-3/8 inches to 5-1/2 inches EU or LP.

VigorPetro's Basic LP (Low Pressure) Serial  BOP is one of the most widely used Blow Out Preventers in the industry. Model LP150 suit for 1,500 psi pressure raiting, Model LP200 suit for 2,000 psi pressure rating and Model LP300 suit for 3,000 psi pressure raiting. 

The LP Serial BOPs can be used on most on-shore wells. Available in vertical bores (VB) of 1.90 and 2.44 inches, and thread sizes of 2-3/8 to 4-1/2 inches, the LP can be used with rod sizes up to 1-3/4 inches.

Offered for both standard and H2S service, our LP BOPs include one housing, two caps, two handles, two rams, and two screws.

VigorPetro's Premier HP (High Pressure) Serial Blow Out Preventer is developed from LP serial to protect against blowouts when working with wireline or small tubing. Rated from 2,000 psi to 5,000 psi.

Model HP200 suit for 2,000 psi pressure raiting, Model HP300 suit for 3,000 psi pressure rating and Model HP500 suit for 5,000 psi pressure raiting.
